Van Diemens also offers custom builds. These are basically the same pedals that we offer as standard, but with that little extra vintage magic thrown in. They still include NOS and reclaimed Germanium transistors as well as 60s, 70s and 80's resistors and capacitors, but you can order any of the following additional vintage components at an additional cost.

NOTE: Vintage components and hardware are dependent on stock and availability.

• Vintage Rendar, ReAn or similar jacks

• Vintage bakelite or similar knobs

• Vintage Alan Bradley or similar potentiometers

• Vintage Paxolin rotary switches (for tone selection options)

• Vintage Paxolin strip or tagboard

• Vintage wire, screws, washers, and spacers

 

These will be all housed in either Hammond cases or for that true vintage style, in cases that are made by Fuzzcases. From time to time, as these pedals become available, they will be showcased on our Instagram feed and offered on our Sales page in the menus above so keep an eye out.

There is also an option for ageing enclosures. Aging can only be applied to a painted finish. These will be more like a well worn pedal as opposed to heavily abused relicing, which I am not personally a fan of. Of course, if you want me to attach the enclosure to a rope and hook it up to the back of my car, I can do that next time I visit the local shops.

If you would like your pedal in a special enclosure, custom finish or a configuration that is outside the norm, give us a should and we can talk about what you want. As an idea of this, the Red Ochre Deluxe Top Box came out of a custom builder order. It developed into a product and I couldn't be happier about it.
