Ok… so… I’m not blowing smoke here. This is my favorite trebble booster right now. Pure sound goodness! I love that it doesn't have treble spikes that are so common with pedals like this. Sounds good through tele single coils, and humbuckers. I have played it through my Amplified Nation Wonderland Overdrive, Fender Reverb and Morgan mvp23 and it kills on all amps.
Havent paired it with other pedals yet but good Lord this thing is awesome! I mean it! And is beautiful aesthetically as well. I just might have to buy another one when you list some more! Really well done on this pedal man!! I love it!

Having a fuzz pedal built by Richard was definitely one of the best customer focussed experiences I've had with any product, ever. Not only did I receive regular updates on the pedal build, I also received numerous test videos with samples of each transistor and how they sounded.
The end product is a beautiful lively fuzz pedal, that cleans up stunningly with the guitar volume knob. I definitely recommend a pedal build with Richard as you get to customise it how you want.

Hi Richard, I just wanted to let you know the Thylacine Fuzz was delivered safely yesterday. I used my Firebird with mini humbuckers into and a Fender Deluxe and your pedal creates a harmonically saturated, chimey, luscious warm sound.
It works flawlessly and is a really fantastic pedal. I am totally delighted with it.

I was stoked to see a local builder pop up in Oz who was clearly mad keen on really getting into these old timey germ circuits, so I jumped in! And what a result! A tad darker and fuller than other MkI.5 Benders I've tried, and exactly what my rig needed, with a more treble heavy amp and P90 feeding it, the Thylacine Fuzz just balances it all out perfectly!

THYLACINE MK1.5 Fuzz
I am super happy with the Thylacine 1.5. Not only does it sound great as a fuzz pedal, but if I turn the volume to 10 and the attack is zero, it makes an excellent boost! This pedal is super sensitive to guitar volume adjustments… Just the way I like!

Dude, thanks for making such an incredible pedal! Dad was over the moon when it arrived and we had a blast messing about with it last night! It just sounds phenomenal. All three modes are magic and the clean up is divine!!
We tried some different guitars with the AC15, man is it the sound of ages. Plugged in a strat, I instantly hear Rory Gallagher and Ritchie Blackmore, plug in a Les Paul and it’s got such a unique sound that reacts so well with the volume knob and pick attack. Sorry for the nerd out, but man are we enjoying it!!

THYLACINE MK1.5 Fuzz
I bought a Thylacine OC75 (Mk1.5 type) fuzz pedal direct from Richard of Van Diemens AAD. I’ve gotta say, the build is amazing! Impeccable vintage style circuitry and a fantastic ballsy fuzz pedal. I also played around with backing the gain off a touch (it cleans up beautifully too, btw), then hitting the front end of it with a (OC44) treble booster. Wow! That takes it to next level huge (whilst still retaining articulation). So much so, that I’ve now ordered a Red Ochre OC44 treble booster from Richard! (From clips he’s sent me, it sounds incredible on its own!)
His service throughout has been faultless, btw. A pleasure to deal with him and totally recommended.
