VAN DIEMENS EFFECTS

 

Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors are hand made effect pedals, created with heart and soul, one at a time. Every Van Diemens pedal is an individual, with a personality all of it's own. They are crafted using NOS and reclaimed electronic components that include Mullard, Philips, Valvo, STC, Texas Instruments and Newmarket transistors, Philips, Hunts, WIMA, Sprague, Siemens, Mullard Tropical Fish and Mullard Mustard capacitors amongst others, Allen Bradley, Philips and Piher resistors and more. These are assembled point to point on hand crafted turret, eyelet or perf boards and assembled in house.

We also use modern components in our builds for mechanical durability such as Hammond and Fuzzcases cases, Dalywell, Carling and Alpha foot switches, Alpha potentiometers and Cliff, Neutrik and Switchcraft jacks. An external nine-volt power connector and LED comes as standard but you may also order On/Off battery switches, bias adjustment control and tone selection switches. Just let us know your wishes when requesting a build.

Pedals are available in either a Powdercoat and Hand Painted finish. The smaller pedal board friendly enclosures are available in Powder coat only. In the larger format, i.e. Deluxe pedals,  you may chose between powder coat or a hand painted finish. Hand painted finishes are offered at an additional charge.

Each pedal is handcrafted, one at a time and can take up to 3 - 8 weeks to produce, depending on back orders, stock and availability of vintage or NOS components, paint curing etc. Click on the images below to browse through our range.
